As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to engage my students and promote kid’s learning in a meaningful way. One approach that has gained popularity in recent years is STEM education, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In this blog post, I will explain what STEM education is and share ten benefits that you may not know about.

STEM education is a hands-on, inquiry-based approach to learning that integrates the four core subjects of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM is a medium through which we can help prepare our students for a bright future in the ever-evolving world of technology and innovation but more importantly we can give them alternatives for developing their authentic contribution to the world around them. Which will ultimately nourish their relationship to self and others.
